The Successful Schools Program contracts with school districts to provide Individual and Group Counseling, Case Management services and/or Behavior Aide support services. While these are all separate services, they can be offered to school systems individually or grouped together to help students with academic and social success. These services vary in delivery and duration, but are designed to reduce conflicts and problem behaviors exhibited by students.
In-School Counseling: IMPACT places credentialed counselors at various schools to offer on-going counseling to youth in need of additional intervention services.
Behavior Aide Support Specialist: IMPACT places trained Behavior Aides with students in need of intensive, daily, one-on-one support to increase safety and academic success.
Impact Day Schools: IMPACT offers therapeutic day schools in two locations (Vestavia and Trussville) for students who need an alternative learning environment. Our Day Schools are short-term placements, where students can acquire the skill sets they need to be successful in their home district again. Students are surrounded by a highly educated, trained and committed team of therapeutic and educational experts. Staff members take time to build strong relationships with the students, and these bonds act as the basis for emotional support and therapeutic interventions when needed.
